Toby Caroline Marx, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2025, in South Jordan, Utah, at the age of 86.

Born in St. Louis, Missouri on August 7, 1939, Toby made Concord, California her home for most of her life. She was the beloved wife of the late Ronald Marx, and the devoted mother ofRick Marx (Jessica), Les Marx (Laurette), and Linda Beaty (Dan). She was a proud grandmother to Christina Marlin (Kyle), RobertBeaty, Andrew Marx (Katelyn), Natasha Marx, and Savannah Marx; and aloving great-grandmother toWyatt Marlin, Harper Marlin, and Eric Marx.

Toby retired from Holbrook Elementary School in Concord, whereshe was known for her dedication, kindness, and warm smile.

She was a proud member of the Red Hat Society, an avid bowler, and a passionate Hummel figurine collector. Her joyful spirit, sense of humor, and care for others will long be remembered by all who knew her.

Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Monday, November 3, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Ouimet Bros. Funeral Chapel, 4125 ClaytonRoad, Concord, CA 94521.

A graveside service will follow at1:00 p.m. atMemory Gardens Cemetery, Concord, California.
