94 year resident of St. Paul, passed away October 30, 2024. Preceded in death by his parents, Maurice and Mae Gitlin; loving wife of 56 years, Barbara Gitlin; and sister, Elaine Livingston. Survived by children, Hugh Gitlin, Julie House, and Maureen Gitlin; grandsons, Sam and Joey House; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Neil brought joy and smiles to everyone he met. After along working life he began a second act as a volunteer. Whether it was Sholom Home, Osman Temple Shrine, or Temple of Aaron, he always gave 100%. Dementia may have taken his memory, but could never take his love for life.
