‘Elf’ screening

The 2003 holiday film “Elf” will be shown Friday at 6:30 p.m. at the Ferndale Library, 807 Main St. There is no charge to attend.

This film runs just over 90 minutes and is rated PG for language, including some profanity. There are mildly suggestive moments, likely to fly over kids’ heads, and alcohol is present. Most parental advisories praise it as a great movie for the whole family and best for kids 8 and up. Parents say younger kids also enjoy it.
