Age 95 of St. Paul, MN, died peacefully on June 9, 2025. Phyllis was born April 19, 1930, in Minneapolis, and grew up in Montgomery, Minnesota.
She married Stanley Vosejpka in 1955, and they settled in St. Paul, where they raised their family and where Phyllis lived for the remainder of her life. Phyllis was an accom-plished baker and seamstress, an avid card player and fisherwoman, and a devoted sports fan. She was immensely proud of her Czech heritage and enjoyed both speaking and singing in Czech with the Sokol Minnesota Singers. She is survived by her daughter Lori of St. Paul, son Paul (Laura) of Midland, MI, grandson William Vosejpka of New York, NY, sister-in-law Rita Kriha of Hastings, MN, nieces and one nephew. She is preceded in death by her parents William and Rose Kriha, husband Stanley, brother Joseph Kriha, brother-in-law Charles Vosejpka, sisters-in-law Leona Vosejpka and Helen Vosejpka Lombardo, and nephew David Mingauw. Special thanks to the nurses and staff of Episcopal Church Home. Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, June 27 at 10:00 am at Lumen Christi Catholic Church, 2055 Bohland Avenue, St. Paul, with visitation one hour prior. Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
