Wade Taylor scored 28 points and host No. 24 Texas A&M beat No. 2 Alabama 67-61 Saturday, making its late free throws after Crimson Tide star Brandon Miller fouled out.

The loss snapped a four-game winning streak for the Crimson Tide (26-5, 16-2 SEC), who played the last two minutes minus Miller, who fouled out after scoring a team-leading 19 points.

The Aggies (23-8, 15-3) led by two with two minutes left when Miller departed. Dexter Dennis made both free throws to make it 61-57.

A basket by Jahvon Quinerly cut the lead to two again with a minute to go, but Taylor made two free throws to make it 63-59 with 30 seconds to go.

NO. 9 TEXAS 75, NO. 3 KANSAS 59 >> Sir’Jabari Rice scored 23 points and a smothering defensive effort carried the host Longhorns to a home win that earned them a second-place Big 12 finish.

Kansas, which had already secured the league title, had its seven-game winning streak snapped.

Tyrese Hunter added 20 points for Texas (23-8, 12-6).

Jalen Wilson led Kansas (25-6, 13-5) with 23 points and 10 rebounds.

NO. 6 MARQUETTE 96, ST. JOHN’S 94 >> Kam Jones scored 23 points and the Big East champion Golden Eagles (25-6, 17-3) earned their sixth consecutive victory by holding off the visiting Red Storm.

Dylan Addae-Wusu scored 25 points for St. John’s (17-14, 7-13).

IOWA STATE 73, NO. 7 BAYLOR 58 >> Jaren Holmes had 16 points and the Cyclones (18-12, 9-9 Big 12) ended a four-game losing streak with the road upset.

Adam Flagler had 20 points for Baylor (22-9, 11-7).

WEST VIRGINIA 89, NO. 11 KANSAS STATE 81 >> Erik Stevenson scored 27 points, Kedrian Johnson added 23 and the host Mountaineers (18-13, 7-11 Big 12) topped the Wildcats.

Markquis Nowell and Keyontae Johnson each scored 24 points for Kansas State (23-8, 11-7).

AUBURN 79, NO. 12 TENNESSEE 70 >> Wendell Green Jr. scored 24 points,and the Tigers (20-11, 10-8 SEC), who had lost eight of their last 11 games, beat the visiting Volunteers.

Tennessee (23-8, 12-6) lost its fifth straight road game.

NO. 13 VIRGINIA 75, LOUISVILLE 60 >> Jayden Gardner and Armaan Franklin scored 16 points apiece, and the Cavaliers (23-6, 15-5) clinched a share of the ACC regular-season title by beating the Cardinals (4-27, 2-18).

Women

NO. 14 OHIO STATE 79, NO. 2 INDIANA 75 >> Rikki Harris made a go-ahead layup with 38 seconds left for the Buckeyes in a win over the Hoosiers after rallying from a 24-point deficit in the semifinals of the Big Ten Tournament in Minneapolis.

Taylor Thierry had 19 points, 12 rebounds and three steals for Ohio State (25-6), which turned up its full-court press in the second half to take down regular-season conference champion Indiana (27-3).

Cotie McMahon added 12 points, 14 rebounds and three steals. She also played a major role in limiting Indiana star Mackenzie Holmes, who had 12 points — nearly 13 below her average — on 3-for-7 shooting.

Grace Berger led the Hoosiers with 20 points and six assists.

LOUISVILLE 64, NO. 10 NOTRE DAME 38 >> Hailey Van Lith had 15 points, and the Cardinals used a stifling defensive performance to knock off the Fighting Irish and advance to the ACC Tournament championship game in Greensboro, N.C.

Louisville limited Notre Dame to 31.4% shooting and forced 22 turnovers.

The Cardinals (23-10) will face No. 8 Virginia Tech today.

Olivia Cochran had 12 points and eight rebounds for Louisville.

Maddy Westbeld had nine points to lead Notre Dame (25-5), which played without point guard Olivia Miles, who was injured in last week’s victory over Louisville.

TENNESSEE 69. NO. 4 LSU 67 >> Rickea Jackson scored 26 points and Jordan Horston 17 as the Volunteers rallied from 17 points down to upset the Tigers in Greenville, S.C. and reach their first SEC tournament championship game since 2015.

Jackson and Horston also had 10 rebounds each.

LSU (28-2) seemed in control, up 40-26 at the half. But Tennessee (23-10) steadily reeled in the Tigers.

LSU got within 68-67 on Alexis Morris’ steal and layup with 1:24 remaining. The Tigers had the ball in the final 15 seconds when Angel Reese was called for an offensive foul.

After Tess Darby made one of two foul shots, LSU got a final chance. But Morris’ 35-footer at the buzzer was off-target.

Reese finished with 22 points and 11 rebounds for her 28th double-double in 30 games this season.

NO. 1 SOUTH CAROLINA 80, MISSISSIPPI 51 >> Laeticia Amihere scored 17 points and Aliyah Boston posted her 80th career double-double to lead the Gamecocks into the SEC Tournament final for the eighth time in nine seasons.

Boston had 10 points and 11 rebounds as South Carolina (31-0) won its 37th straight game. Kamilla Cardoso added 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Leading scorer Angel Baker, averaging 15.3 points coming in, was held to nine on 4-of-15 shooting for the Rebels (23-8).
