Warren Lincoln High School went all out for its second championship parade in as many years.

To celebrate their boys basketball team’s 2024-25 Division 2 state championship, the school hosted a celebration parade on Thursday, April 17.

The repeat champions also had a parade last year, but the snow-covered celebration paled in comparison to the party in Warren on Thursday — party goers enjoyed food trucks, an autograph session, games, raffles, a live DJ, face painting and more.

To top it off, a signing ceremony for three of their departing seniors; Markus Blackwell, Chris Morgan and Da’Marion Bozeman capped off the celebration by signing to play ball next season at Gillette College in Gillette, Wy.

The team, coaches, fans, students and more lined the streets surrounding the school to celebrate the title.

Lincoln finished off a historic two-year run by becoming the first Macomb County basketball team to win back-to-back state championships. They went 47-8 with MAC White and MAC Red titles.
