Mount Rushmore
MAGAs want to put felon Trump on Mount Rushmore. Get real, people.
Roosevelt Park
I would like to thank the city of Longmont for making Roosevelt Park so pretty over the holidays. It must have taken a lot of manpower to put up all those lights, and they were absolutely beautiful, and I appreciate it. Thank you.
Establishing blame
Has anybody else ever noticed that in Trump’s world it is very important to establish blame? Just curious.
Plane crash DEI
What kind of people claim DEI was a cause of the recent air tragedy? The primary occupations were a Black Hawk pilot, commercial jet pilot and an air traffic controller. Which of those occupations allow for less qualifications due to race or sex?
Stop the growth
This is in reference to the annexation comment. Stop the growth.
Anger, retribution
I’m not very happy about hearing only things like hate, anger, retribution, closing down agencies and things like that. I wonder where the positive movement toward America is going to be. Where is forgiveness? Why are we laying off people who with the FBI were just assigned cases that they were working on and trying to come together with some facts? They were just doing their jobs. Why would they be released? Why get rid of good public servants because they happen to be doing their job? We’re headed in a very, very bad direction.
Saving birds
I watch a TV show …, and on it they have wind farms, and they’ve done some studying of wind farms, and they said that they did tracking of raptors and eagles and all sorts of birds of prey, and if they paint one blade of the windmill, they can eliminate the bird deaths because the birds can see that windmill if its painted red and they don’t fly into it, they avoid it and that’s what America needs to do on their wind farms.
Kent Dannen
This is in regard to the passing of Kent Dannen, who wrote the Rocky Mountain National Park hiking book. I’ve had two copies of that book through the years. I’ve just worn them out completely, and it’s the most wonderful book there is (on) hiking in the Rocky Mountain National Park. He truly will be missed. RIP, Kent.
