FRISCO, Texas>> Dak Prescott is seeking another opinion while still hoping to avoid season-ending surgery on his torn hamstring, a person with knowledge of the situation said Saturday.

The star quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys plans to see a specialist Monday, according to the person who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because a decision hasn’t been made.

Prescott was injured in last week’s 27-21 loss to Atlanta.

The Chiba Lotte Marines announced they have chosen to start the process of moving the pitcher to a big league club in North America.

Sasaki, 23, is expected to become one of the most sought-after pitchers on the open market. The right-hander went 10-5 with a 2.35 ERA in 18 games this year, striking out 129 hitters in 111 innings.
