Way to go

Banning gas-operated firearms or using ammo clips would be like banning gas-powered vehicles from having wheels or a steering wheel. Way to go, Colorado.

Park rangers

I’m calling in regards to an article in your TC Line that you posted in Thursday, Feb. 20, newspaper in regards to park rangers. Based on how that entry is created and the context of that posting, it appears that this individual, whether it be a he or a she, has got some sort of issue. He or she probably thought that he or she was above the law, trying to take advantage of something that was illegal, got caught, had to pay a fine by the park rangers that are trying to enforce the law and they are trying to take out some revenge on the park rangers who go above and beyond with limited resources to serve the public the best way they can.

Over, for Putin

This is about the Eugene Robinson article. He pretty much nailed that. This is about Britain, France, Germany and Italy demilitarizing and building up their militaries. Germany alone is going to have a million soldiers they’re going to be sending to Ukraine here, folks. It’s over for Putin. He’s already losing the war, and Donny’s losing the war of attrition with voters. He’s a total loser in life.

Paying it forward

I’d like to thank the young gentleman that was at the 7-Eleven on Ninth and Lashley a couple days back that picked up my purchase and paid for it out of his own pocket. He was a very nice gentleman. We started talking about the weather. Next thing I know, he’s offering to pay for my purchase. I appreciate you very much, sir. You’re a kind gentleman, and I will pay it forward. Lose the council

Well, the city of Longmont has let the City Council turn Longmont into the Russian gulags. Red light cameras, speeding cameras, this is unconstitutional, yet they still try to get their way around it. Once again, time to get rid of the City Council.

Is RFK a progressive?

My nearest uncle worked directly for RFK while he was the attorney general of the United States. He was a progressive’s progressive and a very sensible guy.

Moving over

Don’t forget to move over when there is a police vehicle on the right side of the road. I’ve seen at least one close call with a police car on the Diagonal recently during the recent snowstorm, where an SUV almost sideswiped the car and then almost smashed into one of those new cement barriers on the side of the road. Driving is not supposed to be bumper cars, people.

Bernie’s plan

We haven’t heard about Bernie Sanders in awhile and his policies to cancel all student debt. If DOGE really is saving so much money in the federal government by laying off workers, how about we use that money to help students go to college? You know what they say … education is our passport to the future.
