SPCA Monterey County Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Center is rescuing pelicans in distress across the county, including on Alvarado Street, Camino Aguajito, Carmel Valley Road, in Point Lobos, at the Coast Guard Pier and in Moss Landing. The pelicans are all thin to emaciated with poor blood values and unable to fly. Nine pelicans have been rescued in the past few days. SPCA MONTEREY COUNTY
