


Man robbed at gunpoint
in Oak Forest, police say
Oak Forest police are searching for two men who allegedly robbed a 40-year-old man at gunpoint in the parking lot of the LeClaire Station Apartments.
The victim said he was robbed after he drove into the parking lot on the 15800 block of LeClaire Avenue about 10:30 p.m. Oct. 9, police said.
He said each robber tapped on his passenger and driver's side windows using semi-automatic handguns. They demanded the victim get out of his car and surrender his wallet and cellphone, which he did, officials said.
The gunmen then fled in a car of unknown make and model, police said.
One of the suspects was described as black, about 5-foot-6, 200 pounds and wearing a white jacket. The second suspect was also described as black, about 6-foot, 150 pounds and wearing a black jacket and black baseball cap, police said.
