Hit and run, DUI arrest: On Aug. 13 at around 5:55 p.m., officers were dispatched to E. Main Street and Industrial Way for the report of a traffic collision. Officers identified the suspect, 21-year-old Woodland resident Ronald Allen as the driver. Allen was uncooperative and assaulted medical personnel on the scene. He was arrested for driving under the influence and booked into the Yolo County Jail.

Battery on a police officer: On Aug. 13 at around 10:30 p.m., officers were called to the 1900 block of E. Beamer Street for a male refusing to leave the property by staff members. Christopher Bonner, a 37-year-old Woodland resident. Officers requested Bonner leave the location. He then became combative and started to use profanities while displaying acts of aggression. Bonner threatened officers while they took him into custody. Bonner was booked into the Yolo County Jail for trespassing, battery on a peace officer, and a violation of Parole.

DUI arrest: On Aug. 14 at around 1:46 a.m., an officer observed a vehicle driving at a high rate of speed in the area of Elliont Street and Fifth Street. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, 54-year-old Woodland resident Belia Gonzalez showed signs of intoxication. She was evaluated and arrested for driving under the influence. She was booked into the Yolo County Jail.

Hit and run, stolen vehicle arrest: On Aug. 14 at around 4:38 a.m., officers were dispatched to a hit and run involving a red Kia sedan and several parked cars on Ashley and Lewis Avenues. The red Kia was located unoccupied, and the owner of the vehicle was contacted. There were several cars with damage located in the area. The suspect was identified through investigation as 31-year-old resident Tristan Callahan. Callahan was contacted in the 700 block of W. Eldorado Drive. She was arrested and booked into jail for hit and run and vehicle theft.

DUI traffic collision with injuries: On Aug. 16 at around 1:41 a.m., officers responded to the area for the report of a traffic collision on W. Court Street and Imperial Street. A black Ford sedan had collided into an apartment building. A male driver and a female exited the vehicle. Officers located the driver, 22-year-old Woodland resident Oscar Martinez-Lopez who showed signs of impairment. Officers located an adult female who was the passenger of the vehicle. The female had injuries consistent with being in a traffic collision. Martinez Lopez was arrested and booked into Yolo County Jail for driving under the influence resulting in bodily injury.

Battery on medical staff: On Aug. 16 at 7:10 p.m., over at 1325 Cottonwood St., Woodland Memorial Hospital staff requested Woodland Police due to a male who was being aggressive and assaulting staff. Officers arrived on the scene and arrested Jarrod Masalta, a 26-year-old Woodland resident. He was booked into the Yolo County Jai for battery on medical staff.

HOST

Host Officers helped the SWAT Team with Crisis Negotiations during an operation. They posted 18 camps and cleaned up 14 locations. There were 64 contacts, 26 were offered services, and only five accepted.

There were two large camps tagged, located and cleaned up. There were 14 downtown patrols.
