ALLEN PARK >> Everyone was accounted for at Thursday’s Detroit Lions practice except one.
Tight end Sam LaPorta, who’s working back from an AC joint sprain suffered in the team’s 26-23 win over the Houston Texans on Sunday, missed practice for the second day this week.
His status for Sunday’s game is not known, as Lions head coach Dan Campbell said Wednesday that La-Porta, who had a season-high 66 yards and a touchdown against the Texans, is considered day-to-day. If he doesn’t practice Friday, it’s likely that he’ll be unavailable for Detroit’s Week 11 home game against the Jacksonville Jaguars this Sunday.
LaPorta has caught 25 passes this season for 366 yards and three touchdowns.
Offensive tackle Taylor Decker (shoulder) and linebacker Malcolm Rodriguez (ankle), both of whom were limited in Wednesday’s practice, were present Thursday.
