Have you ever wanted to know all about some of our waddling feathered friends from the North and South Poles?

The Clarksburg Library branch will be hosting a free event in conjunction with The Wonder Grove Children’s Museum in West Sacramento all about ‘Penguin Power’ at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 27, according to the library’s event calendar.

“Waddle into the icy world of Emperor Penguins,” the event listing states. “Discover how these tuxedo-clad birds survive in the harshest place on Earth, learn some cool penguin facts and see how you measure up against them! Investigate their amazing adaptations in a chilly science experiment.”

The Wonder Grove, a relatively new addition to the West Sacramento community, is an immersive outdoor play space where families and children will embrace nature, engage in joyful exploration, and innovative learning experiences in an urban forest setting.
