As an attack on our democracy and freedom, the January 6th insurrection was devastating and stunning to the true patriots of this country. But as far as attempted coups go, it was a complete failure and embarrassingly graphic display of total incompetence. Exactly what you’d expect to get from Donald Trump. It did expose a dangerous element of our population that laughingly thinks of themselves as the real patriots although they want to subvert our democratic principles.
Rogue gun dealers in Indiana have been providing weapons to the gangs in Chicago for years. But this state refuses to close any loopholes for fear of losing campaign donations from the NRA. So how would you combat gun violence, or are you one of those people that still refuses to acknowledge that gun violence is a problem?
I know it’s difficult for some people to understand, but the term “militias” in the Constitutionmeant MILITARY and not insecure little white boys who want to play with guns. I know it’s scary to go to the grocery store or the gas station without your AR-15, but you should see all the people behind you, laughing at you.
Trump went on a rant screaming that New York prosecutors were trying to destroy his reputation by investigating him for crimes. It’s funny that he actually thinks he has a valuable reputation.
Speech, religion and the press all have limitations. So does gun ownership.
Republican Dan Crenshaw complaining about an Olympian not being patriot for not facing the flag? This is the same guy that voted not to investigate the Jan 6th insurrection on Congress. You know the one where Trump supporters dragged flags on the ground and stabbed police with them. He’s a special kind of hypocrite.
I don’t care if the people of China are the world’s largest film audience. We shouldn’t bow down to them. To hell with China.
Thanks to the sham GOP audit in Arizona, election officials in Phoenix will need to get all new election equipment. It would be malpractice to reuse any equipment that was in the custody of the conspiracy theorists running the audit. The Trump campaign should foot the bill for this, but as everyone is fully aware, he pays for nothing.
Fox News Chris Wallace to Rep. Jim Banks, R-Indiana: “Congressman Banks, you voted against the Rescue package, against the $350 billion, just like every other Republican in the House and Senate — so can’t you make the argument that it’s you and the Republicans who are defunding the police?” “We can’t recruit good people to become police officers because we’ve stigmatized them…..” Banks said.
