Mariska Hargitay reveals truth of her parentage
Mariska Hargitay is blowing the lid off a family secret that she’s been holding onto for decades, and makes the big reveal in a new documentary focused on her bombshell mother, the late actress Jayne Mansfield.
The “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” star, 61, reveals in the documentary, “My Mom Jayne,” that her biological father is actually Italian singer and comedian Nelson Sardelli and not bodybuilder and actor Mickey Hargitay, the man who raised her.
She was in her 20s when she found out the secret.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, Hargitay said that finding out felt “like the floor fell out from underneath me. Like my infrastructure dissolved” when she saw a picture of Sardelli and found out the truth.
That’s when she instantly knew he was her biological father.
The famed actress was devastated.
“My Mom Jayne” will premiere June 27 on HBO.
Weed shop owned by Maher and harrelson ransacked
Thieves were caught on surveillance footage burglarizing the West Hollywood weed shop owned by Woody Harrelson and Bill Maher over the weekend.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department told KABC Channel 7 that five people broke into the cannabis dispensary, the Woods WeHo, around 4:30 a.m. Saturday.
Footage published by KABC shows hooded thieves nabbing bags of goods from the dispensary, which characterizes itself as an “oasis where a lush consumption lounge and environmentally elegant design converge.”
A reporter reached out to representatives for Maher and Harrelson for comment.
At the time of publication, neither appeared to have remarked on the crime.
Another big name behind the 8,000-square-foot shop, which opened in 2022, is former tennis phenom John McEnroe.
