Jerry Miguel, 76, passed away peacefully in Chico CA on February 15, 2023.

Jerry was born January 20,1947, to Mary and Joseph Miguel.

He was born and raised in Chico and spent his life deeply rooted in the Portuguese and farming communities.

In 1971, he married Sherri, and they recently celebrated 50 years of marriage. He was a lifelong almond farmer and mechanic. After 30 years working at the Chico State Farm, he retired to spend more time with family. He enjoyed restoring farm equipment and was active in an antique tractor club.

He was preceded in death by wife Sherri. He is survived by his daughters Christine Mikes (Ron) and Aimee Alarid (Ryan), five grandchildren, Kadie (16), Grady (15), Paige (13), Bentley (11) and Colby (9), and sister-inlaw Debbi Mattson.

The Vigil will be held at Brusie’s Funeral Home at 7:00pm Tuesday March 21, 2023.

The funeral will be the following day, March 22, at St. John’s Catholic Church at 10:30am.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in memory of Jerry can be made to Enloe Hospice or the Vintage Iron Club at Patrick Ranch.
