Police investigate report of shots fired
The University of Colorado Police Department has suspects in custody after a report of shots fired in the Williams Village neighborhood early Sunday morning. In an online alert, police say there were no serious injuries and there is no threat to the campus.
About 3 a.m., officers responded to a noise complaint at Weber Hall.
“As police were breaking up a large party, there were reports of shots fired in a parking lot outside,” CUPD announced. “CUPD identified and apprehended suspects, who were taken into custody. There were no serious injuries reported.” Police had instructed residents to shelter in place during the incident, lifting the shelter in place by 5:25 a.m.
