Mary Louise Taylor, of Longmont, Colorado, passed away on July 31st. Mary was born on July 20th, 1931 in Tribune, Kansas. After WWII, Mary took a fancy to a young, recently discharged Army Air Corp veteran, Mavor Taylor. Mary married Mavor on December 31st in 1948 in Tribune. Mary and Mavor were married for 64 years before Mavor's passing on March 31st, 2013. She was a farmer, rancher, quilter / crafter and mother.

After retiring, she volunteered for many years at Longmont United Hospital. She was a strong supporter of the Wild Animal Sanctuary in Keenesburg, Colorado.

Mary is survived by sons Randall, Brock (Mimi) and Brett (Laura); granddaughters Kristy Smith and Rebecca Clint; grandsons Cameron Taylor and Robert Minch; great grandsons Alexander (Darian) Haskell and Ethan Clint; great granddaughters Mary Smith and Kaitlynn Clint; and a great-great grandson, Tripp Haskell; and many cousins, nephews and nieces. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Mavor Taylor; sister Marjorie Thomson; and daughter-in-law Sally Taylor.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Donations in Mary's memory may be given to the Wild Animal Sanctuary, 1946 County Road 53, Keenesburg, CO 80643 or to the charity of your choice.
