As the dust settles from the springtime festival season, which included the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, it’s clear the year in Southern California has been nothing short of spectacular — and sometimes wild. From surprise guest appearances that sent social media into a frenzy to sets that had crowds dancing under the stars and DJs passing out over their mixers, this year’s season of music mayhem (thus far) has lived up to the hype.

Whether it was iconic legends sharing the stage or breakout artists owning the spotlight, SoCal remains the beating heart of live music culture. We were there for all of it — soaking in the sun, the sounds and those unforgettable moments that only festival life can deliver. But the fun doesn’t have to stop there. From Long Beach’s vibrant jazz notes to the thumping bass lines echoing through San Bernardino’s sprawling venues, the festival calendar in Southern California is packed with events that cater to most every kind of music lover.
