Originally from Poland, his dream was to come to America.
He could not wait to become a US citizen.
He practiced his English; assimilated himself as much as possible, except for his heavy accent, which he thought he did not have.
(not true, he did).
He held a Doctorate from his country that would never be recognized in the USA.
He knew a few languages, he read 5-6 books at a time and remembered everything in all of them. He played classical music on the piano but loved ragtime more.
He loved horses almost as much as his wife, Betty.
His first and last job was teaching mathematics at Southern Hills Junior High School, he loved it. After retiring, he served 2 terms on the Boulder Valley School District Board of Education.
In February he quietly left this world in his own dignified way. His wife, Betty preceded him in death. His parents passed away many years ago in Poland, and he leaves behind 2 step-daughters.
