Rex Jay Bentley, 64, left his earthly home on June 23, 2024. He was born November 17th, 1960 in Bridgeport, Nebraska and moved to Colorado in 1969. He and his wife of 25 years, Karen, made their home in Dacono.
Rex was well-known in Frederick where he worked at Interstate Rental for many years.
When his health failed, he moved to Brush to be closer to his family.
Rex could to talk to anyone about anything, but he especially endeared himself to Rinn Cowboy Fellowship with his beautiful a 'Capella rendition of Sweet Beulah Land. He was also a devout member of Rinn United Methodist
Church for 20 years. We are reminded in 1 Thessalonians 4:14,15, that our sadness at losing him will turn to joy as promised. God, music, friends and family made his life complete.
Rex was preceded in death by his wife, Karen. He is survived by his mom, Arlene Bentley, his sister Deana Warner, step children Kelly, James, and Jason, his nieces, Heather and Jenifer, and his nephews, Tray and James.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, September 14, 10:00 a.m., at Rinn United Methodist Church, 3783 Bella Rosa Parkway in Frederick, CO. In lieu of flowers, hug a friend or smile at a stranger.
