According to a Quickly poster, Britney Griner is a drug addict who should have been left to serve her nine year sentence in a Russian penal colony. Drug addict? She was found in possession of a substance that is legal in most states and commonly used by athletes and non-athletes alike for muscle pain. For the Quickly poster, it’s all about Joe Biden looking for votes from “people of color.” If Britney Griner’s color had been white, would the person who sent the post still be saying she should serve a nine-year sentence in a Russian prison camp? What do you think?

Paul Whelan was detained in Russia in 2018 while Trump was in office. If Trump was on such good terms with Putin, why didn’t he get Whelan released?

The State Police must qualify under strict guidelines to become a State Policeman. Perhaps politicians should have to qualify under stricter qualification guidelines to prevent just anybody from using politics to “grow up and find themselves”. Sen. Kyrsten Sinema — at least finish what you started!

Ultra right-wing congressman Paul Gosar (R-Arizona) “endorsed” Donald Trump’s call to suspend parts of the Constitution, claiming that “unprecedented fraud requires unprecedented cure.” Paul Gosar, whose own family has said in public that he is unfit for his office, was just reelected. AND WAS UNOPPOSED. What on earth is wrong with the Democratic party of Arizona that they could not find someone to run against this absolute idiot?

I think it is awesome the new owners of the former Bethel church want to get a liquor license. I wish all churches would turn into bars. Maybe that would allow people to lighten up a bit and stop trying to control everyone’s behavior. As a bonus, that transition turns them into a establishment that actually pays taxes.

Florida State Rep. Joseph Harding has been indicted of charges of wire fraud and money laundering. He is best known as the architect behind Florida’s “Don’t Say Gay” law. He must have been more concerned with someone saying gay than he was with breaking the law in order to secure pandemic relief funds. Just another example of a Republican politician, who waves the Bible with one hand while he lines his own pockets with the other.

I had the pleasure of attending the Christmas Concert that the Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Maestro Kirk Muspratt and with the Symphony Chorus with their new director Thomas McNichols. That performance was one the best ever, and the chorus and orchestra made the Christmas season a special event. It was so great to hear the chorus singing again. I will always look forward to hearing the Christmas concert in the future. Kudos to the orchestra, chorus and conductors, we have something great in Northwest Indiana and we need to support them.

I just bought a carton of cigarettes. $90.09! Time to QUIT!

So, “YOU” do not agree that the 2020 elections passes the smell test? “YOU” don’t believe that 80 million voted for President Joe Biden? Well, other than your feelings, what kind of proof do you have? Idiotic people have pushed that belief to 60 courts and then to the Supreme Court without any concrete evidence. They all lost. You can feel anything you like, but that doesn’t make it a reality.

After the election, Senator Gary Peters D-Mich., said “It was clear the American people really don’t like Republicans that much. I mean, that was clear in all of our research, they were saying they don’t offer anything positive.” I guess there was a Red Wave after all. It happened when the voters waved bye-bye to those red candidates.
