MENTOR Minnesota recruits caring adults to help introduce a child to new ideas and opportunities through mentoring. Here’s one of the kids who could use a mentor’s help.
First name: Meghan
Age: 9
Interests: Meghan loves art, going to the park, all things Hello Kitty, art, milkshakes, and spending time with her MANY friends! She also enjoys summer, animals (especially cats and dogs), baseball and football.
Personality/Characteristics: This spunky third-grader describes herself as kind, colorful, and loving! Her mom notes that she is often shy at first, but once she gets to know you she will be very talkative!
Goals/dreams: She is looking for an active mentor who has pets, and is also able to do crafts with her, and also likes Hello Kitty! When she grows up she wants to be a a dentist! Her three wishes would be: 1) Everything would be free in the entire world 2) Go to California to see Disneyland, 3) Have a car…(watch out world)!
