MPA places third in state in Academic Challenge

Morgan Park Academy’s Academic Challenge team continued its 30-year history of success with a third-place finish at the 2021 state finals, including four individual medals in math and engineering graphics.

West Beverly senior Frank Li took second in math. Beverly’s Emmett Campbell, Celia Echols and Shawn Shi also contributed to the team’s success.

Orland Park’s Shanahan wins 2021 Come Clean Go Green

Moraine Valley Community College student, Shadrach Codjoe Allotey, of Calumet Park, was one of 30 students awarded a scholarship from Walgreens and the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society to cover the cost of the Pharmacy Technician Certification exam fee.
