The slow moving low pressure system that brought the heavy rain Saturday night and Sunday will remain centered over northern Indiana Monday. Northern Illinois will be on the back side of the low helping produce clouds and scattered showers on Monday. While heavy rain will have moved to the east, light rain showers are a possibility through Monday. A few showers may remain Tuesday as tropical storm Arthur blocks the eastward movement of our weekend storm system. Dry conditions should be in place by midweek.

Temperatures remain in the low 60s Monday and Tuesday before a slow warming trend begins Wednesday. Temperatures remain below normal until reaching the 70s on Friday. Temperatures remain cooler near the Lake Michigan as lake breezes persist through Friday.
