Age 96 of Shoreview

Died on March 27, 2024. Preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Mabel; brother, Walter Jr.; and first wife, Marcella Marie. Survived by loving wife, Joyce; his three sons, Jeff (Becky), Jon (Jeanne), Joel (Trish); and Joyce’s children, Ruth (Joe), Lynn (Cary), Jennifer, Jon (Diane), Emily (Bob), Alan, Jamie (Connie), Grant (Emily). Also survived by many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren, including, Alecia (Justin) Jackson and Finley, Rajon (Kristen) Bennett and Lilly; Danielle (Joel) Eloise and Celia; Samantha (Casey); Will; Peter (Maggie) and Eric (Morganne).

A Navy veteran of WWII. Andy retired from Northwestern Bell and AT&T after 37 years of service. Member of the Telephone Pioneers; American Legion Post 542 and former volunteer of Bethesda Rehabilitation Hospital.

Andy was a wonderful father to his 3 boys; he loved to deer hunt and the outdoors. His passions included working on cars and trucks, and he was known for his great sense of humor.

An 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 8th at St. Odila’s Catholic Church, 3495 Victoria Street N., Shoreview, MN.

(visitation 10:00 at church). Private Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
