



The BoCoPreps coverage area had 13 boys basketball players make the Colorado High School Activities Association’s all-state list.
Prospect Ridge’s Travis Agbosse and Peak to Peak’s Elijah Eschmeyer were named first-teamers in the 4A classification. Mead’s Matthew Angelo, the Longmont Times-Call player of the year, was put on 5A’s second team. And Boulder’s Cole Morrow, the Daily Camera’s POY, was an honorable mention in 6A.
Agbosse (13.5 points per game, 7.7 rebounds and 3.2 assists) helped lead the Miners to a historic season, where they reached the 4A semifinals. Eschmeyer (13.6 PPG, 6.5 RPG and 4.1 blocks) helped put the Pumas among the top-ranked teams in the classification, though they eventually bowed out in the round of 16.
Angelo (18.3 PPG, 6.5 RPG) led the Mavericks in scoring for a second straight season. They went out in 5A’s first round. Morrow (22.8 PPG, 5.2 RPG and a 6A-most 20 charges) helped the Panthers win the Rocky Mountain League, their first league title since 2016, and got them into the postseason for the first time since 2020. They eventually lost in the play-in round.
Other 6A and 5A local honorable mentions included Legacy’s Jaedon Ward (14.1 PPG), who hit a school-record 10 3s in a game, and Longmont’s Joey Foot (11.2 PPG, 5.8 RPG).
Honorable mentions in 4A were Holy Family’s Rocco Howes (10.7 PPG, 7.8 RPG), Peak to Peak’s Tysen Burton (14.9 PPG, 5.6 RPG, 4.2 APG), Prospect Ridge’s Liam Schilling (13.9 PPG) and Jefferson Academy’s Josh Neely (18.3 PPG). In 3A, Lyons’ Caleb Christiansen (20.8 PPG) made the list, and in 2A, Twin Peaks’ Angel Ortega (10.4 PPG) and Nederland’s Indio Koonz (6.5 RPG) did.
