Early voting for the April 2 consolidated election is underway at the Kane County Clerk’s Office in Geneva, and more early voting sites are to open in mid-March.

Voting hours at the clerk’s office, 719 S. Batavia Ave., Building B, are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Starting March 18, several other sites will open for early voting, including these in the Elgin area:

Kane County Branch Court Conference Center, 530 S. Randall Road, St. Charles.

Carpentersville Fire Station No. 93, 5000 Sleepy Hollow Road, Carpentersville.

Gail Borden Public Library, 270 N. Grove Ave., Elgin.

Elgin Township, 729 S. McLean Blvd., Elgin.

Another group of early voting sites will be open for only a few days:

Elgin City Hall, 150 Dexter Court, Elgin, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 18-22.

St. Charles Public Library, 1 S. 6th Ave., St. Charles, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. March 18-22 and March 25-28.

Dundee Township, 611 E. Main St., Suite 201, East Dundee, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 18-22.

Village of West Dundee, 102 S. Second St., West Dundee, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 18-22 and March 25-28.

The Kane County Clerk’s Office will roll out its traveling Vote Mobile this month. Voters can cast their ballots inside the mobile polling place.

Jewel-Osco, 652 Kirk Road, St. Charles, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m March 18.

Jewel-Osco, 1660 Larkin Ave., Elgin, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 22.

Jewel-Osco, 1250 W. Main St., West Dundee, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 25.
