Mary Jo Westwater, a woman of exceptional grace and strength, passed away peacefully on May 13th at home surrounded by her friends and family at the age of 81.<br><br>Mary Jo, a long time resident of Sausalito, brought elegance, style, and creativity into every aspect of her life. She began her professional career as an interior designer, where her refined eye and artistic sensibility helped shaped beautiful pieces and spaces. Later in life, transitioning into banking, while her professional accomplishments were many, it was her friendships and volunteer work where Mary Jo truly shone. She was a proud member of the Junior League and the Sausalito Women’s Club. Mary Jo was known for showing up with enthusiasm, determination, and her signature elegance.<br><br>Her circle of friends were devoted and vast, drawn to her warm spirit, quick wit, and unwavering loyalty. Mary Jo had a talent for making people feel valued, and her gatherings were always filled with laughter, good conversation, and lasting memories.<br><br>Mary Jo is survived by her sisters, and brother, nieces, and great nephews, who will miss her deeply.
