Gunfire erupted at a large Halloween house party in Northglenn just after midnight Friday, killing three people and wounding three others, according to the Northglenn Police Department. Officers responded to reports of shots fired at 12:01 a.m. at a home near Belford Drive and Bruce Lane and found one person dead at the scene and five others who were injured, said police spokesperson James Burlison.

Two of the five people taken to the hospital later died, and the conditions of the three injured people were not available Friday.

Investigators believe everyone involved in the shooting knew each other and were attending the party, Burlison said. Police do not believe the incident was a drive-by shooting, and it’s too soon to say whether it was related to gang conflict. No one has been arrested in the shooting, but investigators have identified “some suspect information” and are pursuing leads in Northglenn and surrounding cities, Burlison said. There is no known threat to the community.

The three people killed in the shooting will be identified by the Adams County coroner.
