Resident of San Jose Dolores J. Bruni passed away in her sleep early the morning of Friday May 19th. Dolores lived her life as a loving, compassionate, nurturing, and kind-hearted person. All who knew her loved her positive, no-nonsense approach to life.<br><br>Dolores was born in Redding, CA and moved to San Jose in 1943. She graduated from San Jose High School in 1948 and earned her B.S. in Nursing in 1951.<br><br>She was dedicated to helping those in need and served as head nurse of labor and delivery at Alexian Brothers Hospital of San Jose until 1991. She led a blessed life and was a fine example of service to our community.<br><br>Dolores is preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, Sam. She is survived by her five children, 6 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
