


Boulder police have arrested a man accused of seriously injuring a woman Thursday night in a DUI crash on Foothills Parkway.
Marico Antonio Arellano-Munoz, 23, was arrested on suspicion of DUI; vehicular assault — DUI; careless driving causing injury; driving without a valid license; and failure to present proof of insurance and was set for a court hearing on advisement Friday.
Around 6 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to a three-vehicle crash in the southbound lanes of Foothills Parkway between Pearl Parkway and Arapahoe Avenue, according to a news release.
The initial crash investigation indicates that a man driving a Ford Edge struck a Toyota Corolla, which then struck the vehicle in front of it, a Subaru Impreza, according to the release.
A woman who was driving the Toyota Corolla was brought to a hospital with serious injuries.
Additionally, the driver and passenger of the Subaru Impreza were also brought to a hospital and treated for minor injuries.
