Indiana’s new law, which forbids professionals from even discussing gender affirming care for minors, goes into effect July 1. This is going to lead to more suicides among that population. Given Indiana’s weak gun laws, those kids should have no problem finding effective means of getting the job done.
Our resident fascist called the Democrats “communists” on the same day that Disgraced Republican Senator Joseph McCarthy of Wisconsin tried to somehow tie respected journalist Edward Murrow to “communist propaganda” in 1954. We’re all tired of the dishonest rhetoric just because you disagree about politics. The communist slur just does not have the power it did in the 1950s, especially because it is the GOP that is banning everything, except guns of course.
I would really appreciate if one of these GOP nuts who constantly screech about “communism” would write a letter to the editor or guest column explaining what, exactly they think communism is. I’ll give you a hint, though: it’s not “anything I don’t like or understand.” Anyway, I look forward to seeing their essay. I could use a good laugh.
It should bother everyone that the Republicans just want to change the law to fit their needs. Who elects these people that do not follow the law. They only think one thing and that is TRUMP. So sad that America is being run by a mob.
As if we didn’t know it already, we are getting firm proof that Justice Clarence Thomas is corrupt and unprincipled, and possibly a criminal as well. He and his wife, Ginni, are quite a pair. Where is Chief Justice John Roberts in all this? Nothing to say? Typical.
A communist regime strives to discredit and discourage a free press, pushes it’s agenda in school systems, tries to control what books the people may read, and will use any means necessary including threats and violence to stay in power. If any party in America is acting like communists, it’s the Republicans.
It’s actually all pretty entertaining. We hear from Republicans that paying off a porn star is no crime. So what’s the big deal, they ask. Much ado about nothing, they say. To hear them tell it, paying off your porn star is a perfectly normal and polite thing to do. It just goes to show what a considerate and generous person Trump is. It’s kind of like giving your waiter a tip. They’re sure there are probably thousands of people who have paid off a couple of porn stars without all this fuss. Why do you think we never hear about it? Witch hunt!
I was raised to believe you should trust someone until they break that trust by lying to you. Then, they are never to be trusted again. The man who lied 14,000 times while in office definitely broke that trust. What kind of morality do you believe in?
Trump was hoping for demonstrations when he was indicted. When Trump announced his arrest that did not happen, it gave law enforcement time to plan and execute protection. If Trump had not said anything, he might have gotten the violence that he so craves to sooth his ego. His big mouth stopped him from getting the riot that he wanted.
How exactly is holding Trump accountable for his actions, his crimes election tampering? How exactly do you think holding him accountable will cause any suffering for anyone but him? This indictment for 34 felonies is proof the American justice system still works. He bragged that he could shoot someone on Fifth Avenue and get away with it. Apparently he does not believe in the accountability for your actions America was founded on. Some of us still do.
