Sheila Stabenow 87 years Resident of Happy Valley, OR Mrs. Sheila Kay Stabenow passed away on March 3, 2025. A celebration of her life will be held at the Chapel of the Chimes in Happy Valley, Oregon on April 5, 2025.<br><br>Mrs. Stabenow is survived by her Husband of 60 years Arthur B(Buzz) Stabenow, and her four children: Michael B. Barnett of Yamhill, Oregon, Sabonn R. Jones of Monument, Colorado, John F. Stabenow, of Happy Valley, Oregon, and Elizabeth K. Stabenow-Roberts of Los Altos, California. Mrs. Stabenow is also survived by four grandchildren: John Jr., Christian, Ilsa and Asha and three great grandchildren: Felicity, Sophia, and Sayesha.<br><br>Mrs. Stabenow was predeceased by her parents. William and Mae Bell of Concordia, Kansas and four siblings: brothers Mike, Frank, and Dan and sister Judy.<br><br>Mrs. Stabenow was born in Belleville, Kansas on February 12, 1938. She grew up in Concordia, Kansas.<br><br>Sheila moved to California in 1962, marrying Arthur in August of 1965 and living most of the time in Los Altos Hills, California. She studied nursing at De Anza, College graduating with an RN Degree and served as a Neonatal ICU and Pediatric ICU nurse, first at Valley Medical Hospital in San Jose, California, and later Yale University Hospital. After retiring from Nursing Sheila served as a property manager for the family real estate holdings in Santa Clara, California until finally retiring for keeps in 2005.<div></div><br>
