Resident of El Cerrito

My Mama was amazing! At 95 she was still living independently, cooking, gardening, walking, keeping the house clean, and her family happy. She loved spending time with her friends and reminiscing about their adventures.

She was funny, sharp and full of love until her last breath.

Mom was proud to be the daughter of Italian immigrants, Joseph and Santina Nardon. She was preceded in death by her brother Reno who died tragically in WWII and by her husband of 64 years, Jesse ABrownlee Jr.

Mother to Pat (Nora), Judy and Stephen Brownlee (Tracy).

A wonderful Grandma to Jimmy, Stephen (Amanda), Nick, Sam (Stephanie), Logan and Vanessa. Great Grandma to Kali, Bubba, Lucas and Avery.

Mom attended Stege Elementary and El Cerrito High School, graduating in the Class of 1948 (Go Gauchos!) My Mom LOVED being "the Hot Dog Lady" on Tuesdays at St Jerome's School. "Mrs Bee" cooked and served lunches to the kids for over 52 years. She always looked forward to seeing the children and watching them grow up.

Alice Brownlee wore many hats and had many titles...

But her favorite title was Mama. We miss you so much.

A Celebration of Life was held at St Joseph's Cemetery in San Pablo. Charitable donations in her Memory can be made to Children's Hospital, American Lung Association or your favorite charity.
