Country star tells fans ‘please go get checked’ after diagnosis

Carly Pearce had been open about her frightening battle with pericarditis, and she is once again sounding the alarm for her fans.

The 35-year-old country music star recently appeared on Rolling Stone’s “Nashville Now,” where she said that her condition “was kind of misdiagnosed, also dismissed.”

“Oh, you have anxiety,” she said she was told. “‘No, something’s not right.’ And so, in 2024, I went public with that just because it took me out for a second. But I’m doing really well. And I haven’t had any kind of major flair. But I think, again, just trying to be honest with people and use my platform to be like, ‘Please go get checked because there was something wrong.’”
