Tree grafting workshop slated for Sunday

The UC Santa Cruz Center for Agroecology presents Fruit Tree Grafting, an in-person workshop with Sharon Zo from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at the Cowell Ranch Hay Barn on the campus of UCSC.

Zo is a member of the UCSC Center for Agroecology staff.

The workshop will cover the basics of rootstocks and scion selection, the importance of a sharp, quality grafting knife, safe use of such a knife, timing, and how to put the stock and scion together for best success with your graft.

Tickets are $50.
