Maureen Fay Texeira passed away peacefully on September 21, 2023 at her apartment in San Diego, California. Maureen was born on December 14, 1941 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and graduated from Provost High School in 1959. She then attended the University of Alberta for 3 years where she earned a 3 year Nursing Degree. She married Marvin Texeira in 1966. They were happily married for 57 years until Maureens passing and had 2 daughters, Kristen and Kendal and 6 grandchildren. Maureen worked for O'Connor Hospital for over 25 years and went to St. Mary's College in Moraga to complete a bachelors degree in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Health Services Administration.

Maureen was very active in her daughters softball and tennis activities and loved to hike and bike. She and her husband traveled the world extensively with many different friends. She is survived by her husband, brother, sister, children and grandchildren.
