Soquel

Born March 5, 1946, Dave Moeller passed away peacefully at his home in Soquel and transitioned to heaven on Saturday, December 14, 2024, with his wife, Kathy, by his side. David leaves behind the joys of his life, his wife of 51 years, Kathy, their three sons and their wives, Erik and Kim, Dirk and Lauren, and Luke and Samantha. He also leaves behind his 8 beloved grandchildren Zack, Matt and Abby; Claire and Kyle; and Connor, Cole and his new wife Autumn. He is predeceased by his father and mother, John and Mary Moeller and his brother Jonathan.

David served as the Agricultural Commissioner of Santa Cruz County for 16 years from 1990-2006. He enjoyed his family, land and soft water sailing, bicycling, hiking, rowing, doing graphic design, drawing, his "50/50 Bar", a '41 Chevy, collecting insects and model trains.

He was an active member of Twin Lakes Church since 1983, and above all loved Jesus as his Lord and Savior.

There will be a celebration of David's life on Saturday, February 8, at 11a.m. at Twin Lakes Church.
