With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Randall Wayne Ores, a cherished father, grandfather, partner, brother, uncle, and friend, who departed this world on October 27, 2024, at the age of 82.
Born in San Francisco on December 16, 1941, Randall grew up amidst the vibrant spirit of the city, which ignited his lifelong passion for craftsmanship. A proud graduate of Balboa High School, he dedicated his life to the art of building. As a skilled carpenter, contractor, and fine custom wood craftsman, he transformed countless homes, often proclaiming, "I can fix anything." Randall found joy in his workshop, where he elevated the ordinary into the extraordinary, crafting masterpieces that reflected his passion and expertise.
He leaves behind his beloved twin daughters, Randi Tallerico and her husband Jeff, and Robin Benedetti and her husband Anthony. As a proud grandfather, he cherished his time with Jessica Tallerico and Shane Benedetti. He shared an enduring bond with the love of his life, SairaRose Guerrini, with whom he created 39 years of beautiful memories, particularly at their beloved country house, where weekends were filled with laughter, hot rods, and quiet moments on the deck. SairaRose's family and friends were also a significant part of Randall's life, enriching his world with love and connection.
Randall is survived by his sister-in-law, Pamela Ores, the widow ofhis late brother Gerald Ores, as well as his nephew Benjamin Ores and his wife Kimberlee, and their children Avery and Rylee. He is lovingly remembered by his niece Melissa Ores and her children Soren, Sawyer, and Maven. His life was enriched by many lifelong friends, who will forever hold him close in their hearts.
Randall often reflected on his life with profound gratitude, stating, "I had the best life." His warmth, generosity, and unwavering spirit touched everyone around him. His legacy will endure through his family, friends, and the countless projects he poured his heart into.
In honor of Randalls's wishes, services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a cancer charity of your choice, in tribute to Randall’s commitment to supporting the advancement of cancer research.
He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
