The smell of recent rainfall lingered beneath the glow of red, orange and yellow this week as Autumn finally began to emerge throughout Chico. This was particularly true Monday at the Chico Seed Orchard, where the green had begun to fade into a gradient of warm colors with leaves flying from their branches with the help of regular wind gusts. Many people walked the trails under the fall leaves, enjoying the mild weather after a stormy weekend.

These colors are spreading throughout the city and can be found throughout the parks and roadways.

The Chico Seed Orchard can be found at the end of Cramer Lane off of Morrow Lane in south Chico.
