EDGE Jonathon Cooper: It didn’t take long for Cooper to show the Broncos that the four-year contract extension was worth it. He took down Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes in the second quarter for a sack. He has 6.5 total sacks on the season. Cooper, Nik Bonitto, Zach Allen and John Franklin-Myers did a solid job of creating pressure on the 2-time MVP throughout the afternoon — something that’s hard to do.

WR Courtland Sutton: The veteran wideout cost the Broncos three points during the closing seconds of the first half. First came an offside flag on first down. Then Nix fired a third-down pass over the middle to Sutton but he failed to secure the ball. One play after that, kicker Wil Lutz’s 60-yard field goal attempt fell well short.
