


Three men were arrested Thursday in connection with a human trafficking operation at Candlewood Suites, 1340 Dry Creek Drive, according to a news release.
Diego Lopez-Jiminez, 28, Jesse Spink, 39, and Christian Quinones, 36, were arrested on suspicion of attempted human trafficking of a minor for sexual servitude and attempted sexual assault on a child.
Officials said the human trafficking predator operation on Thursday and Friday focused on identifying and arresting adults who responded to commercial sex advertisements pertaining to illegal activities or violations with minor children, ages 12 and 14.
All three men were arrested upon their arrival at the hotel following their solicitation for sex with minor children, according to the release.
Quinones is set for a return filing of charges Wednesday and is being held in custody in lieu of a $50,000 bond. Lopez-Jiminez and Spink are both set for a return filing of charges Tuesday and are being held in custody in lieu of $75,000 bonds. Spink and Quinones’ booking photos were not immediately available.
The Boulder County District Attorney’s Office Human Trafficking Unit conducted the operation at the hotel in partnership with Homeland Security, the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, the Longmont Police Department, the Aurora Police Department and the Boulder County Forensics Lab, according to the news release.
