Orland Park

St. Michael Parish, 14327 Highland Ave.: Christmas Eve and Christmas Day Masses have been set at the church. Masses Dec. 24 are at 4 p.m. in the church and MPR, both in English; 6 p.m. in the church, English, and 6 p.m. in the MPR, Spanish. No Masses will take place at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Dec. 24. A chorale prelude begins at 9:30 p.m. in the church followed by a 10 p.m. Mass in English. On Dec. 25, Masses are at 7:30 a.m. in the church, English; 9:30 a.m. in the church in English, with an overflow Mass in the MPR if needed; 11:30 a.m. in the church in English. Flossmoor

Flossmoor Community Church, 2218 Hutchison Road: Christmas Eve service at 10 a.m. Dec. 24, which includes a children’s Christmas nativity performance. Late service at 9 p.m. Dec. 24. Both services are family friendly and feature candlelight and carols.

Frankfort

St. Anthony Catholic Church, 7659 W. Sauk Trail.: Collecting 2024 calendars for inmates at Stateville Penitentiary. Knights of Columbus Council 9770 has put a box labeled “Calendars” in the atrium near the restrooms. Last year more than 1,000 were collected. Midlothian

St. Stephen Lutheran Church, 14700 Kildare Ave.: Christmas Eve services at 4 and 7:30 p.m. Singing, candle lighting and Communion will be included. There is no 10 a.m. worship service Dec. 24. Oak Lawn

Pilgrim Faith United Church of Christ, 9411 S. 51st Ave.: Christmas Eve morning worship at 10 a.m. Dec. 24. The service will include the traditional candlelight service because there will be no evening service this year. Information: 708-422-4200.

Palos Park

The Center, 12700 Southwest Highway: Good Seeds Ministry’s winter clothing drive through December. Outerwear such as coats, mittens, gloves, hats, earmuffs and scarves will be collected in the large wicker box on the front porch of the Lodge.
