Four-time Pro Bowl defensive end Maxx Crosby agreed to a three-year, $106.5 million contract extension with the Raiders that will make him the highest paid non-quarterback in NFL history, ESPN reported Wednesday. The deal includes $91.5 guaranteed and runs through the 2029 season.

The Raiders announced the extension but didn’t release the terms of the deal.

The 27-year-old Crosby has been one of the league’s top pass rushers with 59 1/2 sacks since being selected in the fourth round of the 2109 draft.

All-Pro LB Zack Baun, 28, agreed to remain with the Eagles on a three-year deal worth $51 million with $34 million guaranteed. ... Two-time Pro Bowl WR DK Metcalf, 27, requested a trade from the Seahawks. Also, the Seahawks are releasing former All-Pro WR Tyler Lockett, 32, who has spent his entire 10-year career with the team and is the second-most-prolific pass catcher in franchise history. ... The Cowboys restructured QB Dak Prescott’s contract and created $36.6 million in cap space, ESPN reported. ... The Bears acquired two-time All-Pro G Joe Thuney, 32, from the Chiefs a day after acquiring former Pro Bowl G Jonah Jackson, 28, from the Rams.

NHL: The Lightning acquired forwards Yanni Gourde, 33, and Oliver Bjorkstrand, 29, from the Kraken. The Lightning sent two first-round draft picks (2026 ’27), a ’25 second-round pick belonging to the Maple Leafs (previously acquired from Utah) and forward Michael Eyssimont to the Kraken for Gourde, Bjorkstrand and a 2026 fifth-round pick.
