John S. Wallmark, beloved husband, daddy, and grandpa, was called home to be with the Lord on June 12, 2025.

John, the eldest of 3 children was born to John and Priscilla Wallmark in Los Angeles.

He graduated from Cal State Long Beach (1979) and pursued a career in accounting.

He married Zofia Kurzawa in 1975 and they settled in San Pedro, where they raised two daughters, Elizabeth and Jennifer.

John was baptized and confirmed as a child at Trinity Lutheran Church in San Pedro. As an adult, he was very involved in the church leadership serving as a council member, congregational president, and mid-month minister. His faith in the Lord never wavered even after being diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2003. He trusted the Lord for his healing and the Lord gave him 22 years when the doctors gave him 7.

He is now inthe arms of Jesus in his eternal home. John is survived by his wife, Zofia; daughters, Elizabeth and Jennifer; sons-in-law, Beau Robinson and Anthony Amalfitano; grandchildren, Wincenty and Zofia Amalfitano; siblings, Glenn and Frances along with many other family members.
