Santa Rosa, CA Resident of Santa Rosa, CA. Passed away on Apr. 28, 2023 at the age of 89. Lee was born in Detroit, MI on Sept. 7, 1933.
Lee served in the Army Signal Corps during the Korean Conflict. He moved to San Francisco in the early 1970s when he began work in the construction industry. He met his partner of 52 years, Gene Pellegrini, during that time. Lee later worked in upholstery, and taught that trade at Tamalpais Adult School.
Lee and Gene owned and operated a Prudential Real Estate franchise in San Anselmo. They resided in Fairfax until 2015, when they moved to The Fountaingrove Lodge in Santa Rosa to be closer to family.
Lee was an avid art collector and enjoyed the cultural aspects of the Bay Area.
He leaves behind his partner Gene, a sister, and two nephews. He was beloved by Gene’s large, extended family, as well.
The family wishes to thank Providence Hospice, Fox Home Health, and the Fountaingrove Lodge staff for their care and support.
There will be a private service for family.
