Died on July 11, 2025, of complications resulting from 65 years of living with Type 1 diabetes.<br><br>Preceded in death by his parents, Bud and Joyce; infant sister Lynda and brother Paul; sister-in-law Barb; and son-in-law Peter Haugen.<br><br>Survived by his loving wife of nearly 52 years, Nancy (Slaughter); children Kate (Ben) Reinhardt, Beth (Cory) Cauwels, and Noah (Amy) Korba; grandchildren Gabe, Wes, Audrey, Helen, Will, and Francie; siblings Ken (Marco), Tom, and Carol; sister-in-law Patty; and extended family, friends, and colleagues from his 35½ years at 3M.
