Faith Lawson Karnan, 86 of Los Gatos, California passed away peacefully on July 21, 2025, at Peace of Mind Adult Family Home in Kirkland, WA, after a life richly lived.
Born on September 10, 1938, in Williamsport, Pennsylvania to Andrew Beagle Lawson and Mildred Ruth Himes, Faith was a woman of faithfulness, virtuousness, and steadfastness.
She dedicated her life to her Lord Jesus and her family.
Faith was true to her name; her unwavering faith and compassion for others touched all who knew her. Faith and her twin sister Hope were both concert pianists and earned master’s degrees with honors from Julliard School of Music. Even in her 70’s, Faith could sit down at apiano and sight read asong for the first time as if she had been playing the piece for years.
Faith was a devoted wife to Dick Karnan for 41 years, who preceded her in death in 2004, and together they raised 3 children: Parker, Lance, and Sterling. She was a cherished grandmother to 9 grandchildren and was able to spend time with them all together at afamily reunion just 40 days before she passed.
A celebration of Faith's life will be held on August 2nd at 11:00 AM at Venture Christian Church in Los Gatos, CA. The family requests that flowers be brought to the service.
The Karnan family extends heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love and support. Faith will be forever in our hearts and will live for eternity in heaven.
